Riding tomorrow

I'm riding with the HTB bunch again tomorrow. In writing a comment on Tom Levell's blog, I realised that tomorrow will be the first time I've ridden a geared bike since March 12th and only the 9th non-utility ride I've done this year. Strangely, I'm probably the fittest I've ever been. Odd.

Good stuff.
I'm jealous of your ability to ride loads for utility. I try to ride into town to do my weekend stuff but my commute is a 30mile round trip and selfishly I like to ride offroad at home on week nights so I don't manage it much.
I think it's sometime in October since I rode a geared bike. Hankering after one at the moment but I know it will annoy me as soon as the gears start slipping.

A bike is, for me, the fastest way home, so it's still how I'd get to/from work even if I could ride off-road of an evening. You'd be super-fit if you did 30 miles a day though...

Or knackered.

Well, after the first week, maybe. But, after six months...
